Film Notes and Highlights
JC Latham will only be 21 years old during his rookie season, but he has two years of starting experience in the SEC. Despite taking 18 penalties over the past two years and having room to improve, Latham is a first-rounder due to his rare combination of size and speed.
Latham started two years at Alabama. He was the starting right tackle in offensive coordinator Tommy Rees’ scheme for the Crimson Tide. After serving as a backup guard as a Freshman, Latham earned the starting right tackle job the past two seasons. There, he led the offense in snaps played as a player where he showed good prowess in run blocking and pass protection.
