Film Notes and Highlights
Tyler Guyton lacks technique at the position, but there aren’t many offensive linemen who have a better athletic mold. He has starting-caliber gifts in the NFL, but must eliminate negatives in both the running and passing game to be successful. Guyton has battled injuries and had limited reps for TCU following the 2021 season, but his flashes were complemented by increasing consistency, especially once at Oklahoma. He should continue to improve as a run blocker, but he may never shine in that department. Guyton’s value comes with his pass protection. Guyton, a two-year starter at Oklahoma, played in former offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby’s interior-focused scheme. – Cesar Fuentes
