Film Notes and Highlights
Amarius Mims isn’t a polished prospect. In my opinion, he’s a level below former teammate and first-round pick Broderick Jones. However, I believe he has incredible potential. Mims has more development ahead of him, but he is a Day 1 prospect with the traits and talent to be considered at any tackle position.
Mims, a one-year starter at Georgia, filled in at right tackle in offensive coordinator Mike Bobo’s balanced running scheme. He missed half of the 2023 season due to injury once he became a full-time starter. He still played at a high level in all eight of his career starts (zero sacks allowed), especially against Ohio State – which was his first career start in the 2022 College Football Playoff. His best football is ahead of him and he has the talent to become a long-term
starter at left or right tackle. – Cesar Fuentes
