Film Notes and Highlights

Blake Corum is a very tough runner despite his size. Although he is not very tall, he is compact and can take a heavy workload. I think Corum has some of the best vision in the class and shows great patience to press the hole before making moves on defenders. He is smart and uses a variety of moves including a nasty jump cut to avoid defenders. Late in big games he would use hesitation to break long runs to ice games for Michigan.

I think he is more quick than fast, but has the speed to make long gains. He is able to get his pads low and keep his legs moving to get tough yards. Corum had a nose for the end zone with 45 touchdowns in the last two years. Injuries and the ability to stand up to the beating of a NFL season are concerns of mine. The main things I love about his game is he is decisive and knows how to grit out the tough yards. -Brandon Haye
