Bralen Trice is a powerful player. He has a great bull rush (especially a one-handed rush) that can overpower offensive linemen. Trice also can win with a speed rush, and has some interesting side-step moves that throws off opposing OTs to give him space to create pressure. He doesn’t have incredible short area agility, but it gets the job done. Trice is a big player, but he plays small at the contact point.
There are many times Trice completely whiffs on ball carriers or doesn’t wrap up at all. In the run game, he has a tendency to lead into blocks with his lead shoulder, making him off-balance or being completely taken out of the play. He will need to work on his tackle angles and be more successful getting off run blocks. There are times it seems Trice is taking plays off completely, and he needs to improve his awareness diagnosing plays. He especially struggles against RPOs and keeping containment on the edge. He was targeted endlessly in this regard in the USC game. I believe Trice is Day 2 player who will be over-drafted based on his testing. – Thomas Christopher
