Film Notes and Highlights
Chris Braswell is an elite athletic specimen. He has immense speed and the strength to absolutely throw offensive linemen. He’s best suited as a pure pass rusher, with an absurd variety of moves to rush the quarterback. He has a great one-handed bull rush, and if he were to stay more active with his hands and a lower pad level he would be elite. He has great bend to get past offensive tackles, and the strength to dominate inferior OL.
However, Chris Braswell does have his struggles. His burst at the line can be inconsistent, but that may be due to coaching. He doesn’t show great awareness in coverage, and is weak at the tackle point. There are multiple instances of the ball carrier escaping his grasp and breaking his tackle attempts. I believe Braswell is a Day 2 prospect who could become an elite pass rusher at the next level. – Thomas Christopher
