Film Notes and Highlights
Dylan Laube at times does not show anything spectacular on the field, but he runs hard and is good in a lot of areas. He has good hands and many of his plays were on screens or outlets as a receiver. However, he did run more varied routes against Central Michigan when he almost had 300 receiving yards.
Laube has good enough vision to see cutback lanes and is very good at putting his foot in the ground to change direction and avoid defenders. He shows off good hesitation in the presence of an incoming defender and would utilize spin moves to get away from traffic. Laube is more quick than fast and has great short area quickness between the tackles. He is not going to be a great pass blocker but does try to get in the way. Laube likely will be change of pace back that could definitely be lethal in the receiving game. – Brandon Haye
