Film Notes and Highlights
Ja’Lynn Polk was an interesting wide receiver prospect to watch. He showed good ability in jump ball situations and in contested catch areas playing with quarterback Michael Penix Jr. However, he was mostly put in those situations because of his lack of nuance as a route runner. Polk seemed to struggle against man coverage at times, but seems to do well against zone. He projects best as a deep ball specialist, even despite his lack of true speed at the position. I believe Polk is a Day 2 prospect in the 2024 NFL draft. – Thomas Christopher
