Film Notes and Highlights

Jared Wiley broke out this past year and is a good receiver with strong hands. He is athletic for his size and can make plays after the catch. He is also very effective in stretching the middle of the field. One thing that will help him is his versatility in lining up in different positions. However, one problem is that when he is lined up out wide as a receiver, he does not show great blocking technique. Wiley is a better blocker when he is on the line. He needs to work on blocking effort as he will not seek out blocks and sometimes does not hold blocks long enough. I think Wiley would be best suited in an H-Back-type role and is very effective when he chips on blocks and releases. – Brandon Haye
