Film Notes and Highlights
- Jayden Daniels has the speed to outrun any defender in the SEC. Also showed some ability to make people miss in the open field with juke moves.
- Played in an offense with two star receivers in Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers. Will Daniels have the same effectiveness without them creating as much open space?
- Took too many crushing hits in the open field. He will not last if he does not learn to avoid contact.
- Accuracy wavered at times when he was pressured.
- Has clearly worked on pocket movement and keeping his eyes downfield.

Player Comparison
While Daniels may not have the arm strength Murray provides, they have very similar play styles. Both players push the ball deep down the field and take shots in one-on-one matchups. They both have impressive straight-line speed that allows them to run away from defenders. And as his 2023 tape has shown, Daniels is always trying to make a play, resulting in some impressive scramble drill moments that can look very similar to Murray’s Houdini acts.
