Film Notes and Highlights
Kingsley Suamataia is still a very young player, entering the 2024 NFL Draft at 21 years old. He lacks refinement in several areas, but his combination of size, mobility and core power are the foundation of an NFL starter. He is a prospect to draft and develop somewhere on Day 2.
Suamataia, a two-year starter at BYU, lined up at left tackle last season in offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick’s RPO offense. His 1,342 offensive snaps in college were evenly split between left tackle (48.8 percent) and right tackle (51.2 percent), showing he’s versatile enough to play both positions. Suamataia might struggle to handle NFL speed in pass protection, but he’s fast enough for blocking duties in the outside zone and in space. – Cesar Fuentes
