Film Notes and Highlights
Kris Jenkins is an anchor, with incredible natural power and a good burst. He has a knack for stopping the run, and has a surprising repertoire of pass rush moves. Jenkins usually has great leverage, giving him the ability to shed blocks easily, split double teams, and make stops in the run game. That leverage also helps him as a pass rusher, where he uses a multitude of moves to pressure the QB. He shows good flexibility, with enough acceleration to ‘get skinny’ and win on inside moves. Footwork can be improved, but isn’t a major concern at the moment. However, at times it seems like he can take plays off – especially when the game is out of hand. Jenkins is one of the more complete DT’s in this class and is a mid-Day 2 pick in my opinion. – Thomas Christopher

Michigan DT Kris Jenkins may not be as big as his father, but you can see where he gets his strength from.
In this play Jenkins casually tosses the LT with a swim move, engages the LG, sheds the block and makes the tackle. There's a lot to like in his tape. pic.twitter.com/CyMW1lmLGz
