Film Notes and Highlights

Malachi Corley is a player that many are excited about, especially in the Devy fantasy football community. I think he is going to be utilized at the next level in the short and intermediate area. In 2023, over 70% of Corley’s production was on passes 9 yards or less from the line of scrimmage and his ADOT is under six yards. He is very shifty and able to maximize the yards after the catch. Corley is excellent in using his speed to separate from defenders, especially on crosses and drags. He is twitchy and best suited for quick moving routes because of his sharp cuts. I do worry about the physicality of defenders in the NFL because he can be bullied at the line at times. In college motion was used to avoid that, so I think he will mostly be a slot receiver. – Brandon Haye
