Film Notes and Highlights
Malik Nabers is the 1B at receiver in the 2024 NFL draft. There is very little to not like in his game. I love that he comes back for the ball and attacks it on passes that are short. He played both in the slot and outside, so he has that versatility. Nabers is a smooth route runner and has good suddenness to threaten defenders inside and explode to the outside creating separation.
Malik Nabers is able to have great extension to go get the ball and has a great catch radius. Nabers is very good in open space and think he could be elite after the catch in the NFL. Even though he has great hands at times there are concentration lapses where he has some drops. However, I do not see that as a big concern. I think he is a good route runner but could improve to be a little more crisp. I think he comes in right away and can be the top receiver for a team and could threaten for offensive rookie of the year. – Brandon Haye
