Film Notes and Highlights
Michael Hall Jr is a finesse player with great speed and a fantastic swim move. When he can avoid being grabbed by offensive linemen, he quickly finds himself in the backfield. However, he has an incredibly hard time getting off blocks and is a near non-factor in the run game. I felt he was played out of position at Ohio State, where he could have thrived as a (somewhat undersized) 5t responsible for a single gap and face more one-on-ones. Going into the draft at 20 years old, there’s a chance a defensive coordinator can unlock the potential Ohio State was unable to do. To me, Hall is a borderline Day 2/Day 3 prospect with a lot of untapped potential. – Thomas Christopher
