Film Notes and Highlights
Michael Pratt is better suited to run a scout team than being a starter in the NFL. He can lead an offense, has good throwing motion, can throw off-platform with great form, and with good ball velocity. However, there is a lot that Pratt seems to struggle with.
Overall, Michael Pratt has below-average arm strength at the position. His best plays either occurred due a defensive breakdown, or a trick play/misdirection to create open receivers. Pratt struggles in the pocket if his first read isn’t available. His inability to go through progressions becomes quickly apparent, and his pocket presence is near non-existent. If the first read isn’t available, Pratt will panic and (usually) scramble. However, he is not athletic enough to provide true difference-making ability as a rusher and gets easily tripped up. – Thomas Christopher
