Film Notes and Highlights
Terrion Arnold is a versatile corner. He was asked to play outside and in the slot for Alabama. He does well in both man and zone coverages, but can give too soft of cushions and be taken advantage of on curl routes. If there’s a slot receiver on his side and his receiver is running a crosser, he prefers to take a longer route to keep play in front of him than attempt a deflection. On deep balls, Arnold shows great instinct and awareness. Often he will have his eyes on the ball attempting to make a play. In zone coverage, he reads the quarterback well and understands his assignments. He’s also a great blitzing corner.
In the running game, Terrion Arnold shows good promise. There’s plenty of effort to be found, but his technique needs to be cleaned up. I believe Arnold is a late Day 1, early Day 2 prospect. – Thomas Christopher
