Film Notes and Highlights
Ty’Ron Hopper has an incredible motor. He’s not afraid to wait in the hole for the RB, nor is he afraid to go on the attack. He likes to dish out hits, even though his form could be slightly more efficient. Hopper can shed blocks well, allowing him to stop potential breakaway plays. He effectively times his blitzes with the snap, leading to pressures and sacks far more often than not. He can improve in coverage, but isn’t a complete liability – often only losing due to height or straying a little too far in zone. Hopper takes great pursuit angles, but can get tunnel vision at times. I believe Hopper is a Day 2 prospect who could start as a Will linebacker in the NFL. – Thomas Christopher
