Entering Week 12 of the 2025 college football season, it means it’s now time to look at The League Winners Power Rankings. As a reminder, these rankings are an overall reflection of the college football atmosphere among those who cover the sport.

These Power Rankings will combine the averages from multiple members on our staff, and be updated weekly. Where does your favorite team land? Let’s find out.

These College Football Power Rankings are not official endorsements or critiques of any team. This list is a composite of multiple members of The League Winners entering Week 12 of the college football season.

Honorable Mentions: Tulane, SMU, North Texas, Arizona, and Houston all received top-25 votes.

Other Notes: Once again, the Ohio State Buckeyes remain No. 1 in these rankings for yet another week. Like most weeks, the top-5 has not changed from last week’s power rankings. The SEC remains atop in this Power Rankings, with eight teams still listed in our rankings. Entering Week 12, the ACC is tied with the Big Ten with five teams in our power rankings entering Week 12. Now, the Big 12 has just four teams in these power rankings. The American Conference now only holds one selection, in USF, who returns to our power rankings. We also have another Group of 5 school in our rankings, in James Madison. Notre Dame remains the only independent team in these rankings.

Missouri, Washington, and Memphis have been removed from the rankings.
