Honorable Mentions: Duke, Cincinnati, Florida State, Penn State, Nebraska, Washington, UNLV and Utah all received top-25 votes from our writing staff.

Other Notes: Nothing has changed for the Ohio State Buckeyes, who remain No. 1 in these rankings for yet another week. The SEC remains atop in this Power Rankings, with 10 teams now listed in our rankings. Entering Week 7, the Big Ten remains in second with five teams on this list. The ACC and Big 12 are no longer tied. The Big 12 has leap-frogged the ACC, now holding four members opposed to the ACC’s three. The USF Bulls are no longer the only team from the American to enter the 2025 Power Rankings entering Week 7, either. For Week 7, the Memphis Tigers have now joined South Florida in our power rankings. However, Notre Dame remains as the only independent team.

The Penn State Nittany Lions and Florida State Seminoles have been removed from the power rankings.

Like always, we’ve included our individual College Football Power Rankings for Week 7 from the contributors at The League Winners.
