Fantasy Football 2021: Week 10 Waiver Wire

fantasy football

Only a few weeks left until the fantasy football playoffs are knocking on our door. Now is the time to start planning ahead. Be on the lookout for handcuff running backs and defenses with easier playoff match-ups. Be sure to do your due diligence when making any transactions. As always, all roster percentages are via ESPN Fantasy Football. The threshold to qualify a player for my weekly waiver list is 65% or less.

Quarterbacks

Carson Wentz IND 49.4% Rostered – Carson Wentz has seemingly found his groove with the Colts offense. Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines have opened up the passing game tremendously for Wentz. He should continue his hot streak against the Jaguars in Week 10.

Matt Ryan ATL 43.5% Rostered – Dallas is coming off a bad loss to Denver, and the Falcons are coming off a sweet victory against their division rival Saints. Matt Ryan’s new favorite weapon, Cordarelle Patterson, is surely keeping Matt Ryan fantasy relevant these days.

Teddy Bridgewater DEN 24.3% Rostered – Teddy is one touchdown away from tying his season high of 15. I expect him to break that mark against the Eagles in Week 10.

Tua Tagovailoa MIA 33.2% Rostered – Although dealing with a finger injury, if available, Tua is facing a Ravens defense that just gave up 31 to the Vikings.

Running Backs

Kenyan Drake LV 59.8% Rostered – After posting a season high on targets and receptions, Kenyan Drake is a must add going forward in fantasy football PPR leagues. He should be utilized well against the Chiefs in Week 10.

Nyheim Hines IND 42.5% Rostered – Hines workload this past week is just another reason he should be rostered in all PPR leagues. He is capable of scoring on any given week, and is a high upside flex play against the Jags.

Mark Ingram NO 22.8% Rostered – Ingram found himself with 14 touches in Week 9. Five of those were catches. With the lack of weapons on the Saints offense, Ingram could be a play in deeper leagues.

Devonta Freeman BAL 13.4% Rostered – Freeman has gotten better every week since joining the Ravens. Logging his third score in three weeks with the team, Freeman is the man to have in this Ravens backfield.

Wide Receiver

Michael Gallup DAL 49.1% Rostered – Scheduled to return to action in Week 10, Gallup is a hold until further notice.

Darnell Mooney CHI 45.9% Rostered – Mooney scored twice on Monday night and is the clear WR1 on this team as far as utility goes.

Brandon Aiyuk SF 45.4% Rostered – Aiyuk seems to be out of the dog house. He’s had 15 targets over the last two games, adding in a touchdown as well. Aiyuk looks like the explosive 2020 version of himself again.

Rashod Bateman BAL 24.4% Rostered – Bateman’s workload has increased each week and is taking a slice of this new Ravens pass attack for himself.

Elijah Moore NYJ 15.% Rostered – Elijah Moore had two touchdowns against the Colts and may be a favorite among the Jets backup quarterbacks.

Donovan Peoples-Jones CLE 5.4% Rostered – DPJ is the best deep threat for this Browns team and is putting up the numbers everyone was hoping OBJ would.

Tight Ends

Pat Freiermuth PIT 32.3% Rostered – Big Ben has lost his arm talent, but Freiermuth is in the right place at the right time. His athletic ability has opened up a new window for success in Pittsburgh.

Dan Arnold JAX 16.8% Rostered – I truly believe Arnold has become rookie Trevor Lawrence’s favorite target. He can be streamed almost every week.

Cole Kmet CHI 12.4% Rostered – Although on bye, Kmet saw a season high in targets last night against the Steelers. He is a stash if you are needy at the tight end position.

Defense/ST

Broncos 53.1% Rostered vs PHI – The Broncos may have lost Von Miller, but that didn’t stop them from pummeling the Cowboys.

Browns 50.5% Rostered @ NE – Look for Myles Garret and company to stay on the attack against Mac Jones.

Titans 8% Rostered vs NO – The Titans are firing on all cylinders right now and I don’t expect it to stop.

Kicker of the Week

Younghoe Koo gets a dome down in Dallas. Give me an elite kicker and a dome as the best combo for kicker of the week.
