Week 2 of the NFL Fantasy football has begun. If you are looking to bolster your IDP squads without having to spend FAAB or waste a priority waiver, then look no further! Below we have listed solid IDP options to add to your teams that will help give you the edge. Let’s take a look at some last minute IDP waivers to add as we dive head first into Week 2.
Alex Anzalone – Detroit Lions – Anzalone had a real solid year last season. He had a total of 127 tackles to go with 7 pass deflections. Now in 2022, Anzalone picked up right where he left off. He had 9 combined tackles while playing in 92 percent of the snaps for Dan Campbell last week. The Lions are thin at linebacker and there is no real competition for Anzalone. As long as he stays healthy he will have solid role all season long.
Patrick Queen – Baltimore Ravens – Patrick Queen got off to a fast start last week. Against the Jets he posted 9 combined tackles, 0.5 sack and played in 100 percent of the snaps. Queen had multiple issues last season and fell out of favor from the coaching staff as the year went on. He is looking to rebound this season in what could be a make or break year for him. Thus far, Queen has underperformed. But if he can match his play from Week 1, then I expect him to have a big season for fantasy football.
C.J Mosley – New York Jets – C.J. Mosley had resurgent season in 2021. After missing the prior two seasons, Mosley came back with bang. He posted career highs in tackles with 168 while missing only one game! Mosley picked up right where he left off to start this season as well. In the first game of the year against his former Ravens, Mosley posted 11 combined tackles while playing in 100 percent of the snaps. Mosley is the cog of that Jets defense. Everything goes through him. As long as Mosley can stay healthy he is a valuable addition to your IDP lineups!
On the Lookout
While these players aren’t exactly ‘must adds’ yet, they are names to keep an eye on as the season progresses – and to add in a pinch in Week 2 for your fantasy football team.
Alex Singleton, Denver Broncos. If Josey Jewell remains hurt, Singleton is a solid flyer this week and could potentially find a season-long niche.
Divine Deablo, Las Vegas Raiders. Denzel Perryman is out this week. Deablo is a decent add if you are in a bind.
