Fantasy Football GameDay Edge – Week 11

fantasy football

Hope you used Justin Fields in fantasy football last week in any one-and-done fantasy football leagues like the #BabyBowl and @lineupsowdown. I did mention he was QB1 in last week’s GameDay Edge tweet. This week I will keep it short and sweet as I am getting over a viral flu-like illness with only five tidbits overall.

As a reminder, this is a matchup chart and not a team performance chart. For example, the Giants’ offense has a .2275 pass EPA/play matchup advantage against the Lions’ defense based on median adjusted EPA/play data.

FIVE TIDBITS FOR THE WEEK:

  1. The Minnesota Vikings’ offense is eighth highest in pressure rate allowed with 24.9%. The Dallas Cowboys’ defense is second-highest in generating pressure with a 28.0% pressure rate.
  2. The Las Vegas Raiders’ defense has allowed the highest completion percentage thus far with 70.87%, which skyrockets to 76.67% in the last three weeks. The Denver Broncos rank fifth-highest with 39.3 pass attempts in the past three weeks. Both teams are dead last the past three weeks with 13.3 points a game.
  3. D’Onta Foreman is tied with Brian Robinson for fifth-highest with 84 rushing attempts in the past five weeks. The Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens rank 8 and 9 in the scoring offense the past three weeks. Carolina allows the second-highest receptions to the wide receiver position. Baltimore ranks last in WR target share of 43.4%.
  4. The Atlanta Falcons are league-worst while only applying a 10.8% pressure rate. Another QB1 finish in fantasy football for Justin Fields is in the realm of possibility. The Falcons have allowed the highest amount of receptions to the wide receiver position thus far this season at 155.
  5. The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers rank one and two in the most YAC yardage thus far this season. This game has the potential to be a shootout.
