Fantasy Football Start or Sit Week 2 – Start

Hunter Henry, TE – New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins (Sheldon Hand)

The TE1 on the year is in line for another good game. The Miami Dolphins were 4th-worst against TEs last year, allowing 12.1 points per game. The New England Patriots are going to try and slow the game down with the run game. However, if they can’t contain the high flying Dolphins, Mac Jones will look to his TEs for help. Hunter Henry was the TE on the field for nearly 80% of the snaps compared to Mike Gesicki’s 41%. The revenge game narrative is a temping play for Gesicki, but Henry is Jones’ guy for now.

Sam LaPorta, TE – Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks (Harry Prskalo)

Sam LaPorta showed promise in his NFL debut. He caught all five of his targets for 39 yards, ending with 8.9 points. He is now going against a weak Seattle Seahawks defense which allowed a Cooper Kupp-less Rams throw all over them. This game should be high scoring, and I am starting LaPorta to build off his Week One performance.

Jamaal Williams, RB – New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers (Mikey Cannavo)

Jamaal Williams had a lackluster Week 1 showing, but looks to bounce-back against a Carolina Panthers defense that surrendered 131 yards at 5.24 yards per carry last week. Williams is still the primary, and solo, running back in New Orleans. I expect him to dominate in their upcoming matchup against the Panthers.

DJ Moore, WR – Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Erika Brown)

Throwing out week 1 for the Chicago Bears, I believe they can correct their mistakes. They didn’t package Justin Fields very well, and they didn’t get DJ Moore the ball, only catching his single target for 25 yards. This week they go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who, against Kirk Cousins, gave up 344 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air. DJ Moore and the Bears have the opportunity to bounce back this week.

Fantasy Football Start or Sit Week 2 – Sit

Miles Sanders, RB – Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints (Sheldon Hand)

Not a bad start for Miles Sanders in Week 1. He had nearly 100 scrimmage yards and was second on the team in receptions. However, no TD in a fairly juicy matchup was disappointing. Not only that, but Chuba Hubbard looked good, averaging 2.7 more yards per carry. The New Orleans Saints defense kept Derrick Henry out of the end zone last week and made Ryan Tannehill look awful. If rookie QB Bryce Young can’t get the offense going, Sanders will struggle. If you have a second option don’t hesitate to sit him. I would target Ezekiel Elliott, or Tyler Allgeier as pivot options.

Breece Hall, RB – New York Jets at Dallas Cowboys (Harry Prskalo)

Breece Hall showed us that he is going to be a league winner this season, but I am pumping the brakes on him this week. With Aaron Rodgers going down, the Dallas Cowboys defense is going to make Zach Wilson throw the ball. I am expecting them to stack the box the entire game. Unless he can fall in the end zone, I would keep Breece on my bench this week.

Puka Nacua, WR – Los Angeles Rams vs. San Fransisco 49ers (Mikey Cannavo)

The hype for Puka Nacua is real, and I’m on board long term, but I’m waiting a week to play him. Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers have had the Los Angeles Rams‘ number since he took over as head coach. They’ve won 8 of 11 matchups, with the most recent ones being uncompetitive. I’m staying away from the hype for the moment.

Brian Robinson, RB – Washington Commanders at Denver Broncos (Erika Brown)

Brian Robinson‘s Week 1 consisted of 20 touches, but only 63 total yards. While he has the volume, he didn’t see much success. To make matters worse, he faces the Denver Broncos this week. Last week, the Broncos held Josh Jacobs, former overall RB1 last year, to only 48 yards on the ground. I don’t trust the Washington Commanders offense this week, much less Robinson.
