We’re in Week 10 of the NFL season, and nearing the final stretch of the fantasy football regular season. Between injuries, bye weeks, and unexpected play, this year has been one to remember. To keep you covered week in and week out, The League Winners are here to help you with any start or sit questions you have. Spending the week agonizing over who to start in your flex? Put your mind to rest and rely on us week in, and week out. If you missed last week’s picks, you can see them here.
Start
Josh Palmer, WR – Los Angeles Chargers (Thomas Christopher)
With Mike Williams and Keenan Allen out once again, I’m expecting Josh Palmer to have a big day for the Los Angeles Chargers. In the past two weeks, Palmer has seen 22 targets, catching 17 for over 150 yards. While he has a tough task against the 49ers defense, I think he will be force-fed targets and scripted open. I’m starting Palmer in all of my fantasy football lineups.
Jeff Wilson, RB – Miami Dolphins (Aaron St. Denis)
Greg Dulcich, TE – Denver Broncos (Jeremy Shulman)
Cole Kmet, TE – Chicago Bears (Sheldon Hand)
It has been a disappointing start to the season for Cole Kmet. He was pegged as a breakout candidate after seeing nearly 100 targets last year. His breakout game finally came in Week 9 when he finished as TE2 with 19.5 points. Don’t hesitate to throw Kmet into your fantasy football lineup this week. The Bears are moving the ball well and getting into scoring position lately. Kmet has two red zone targets in back-to-back games after only having one in the first seven weeks. With those four targets he has scored three times. Expect Kmet to score again; as the Bears are playing the Lions who are allowing the fourth most points to the TE position. His TE15 ranking on FantasyPros is a shame. I think a top 10 finish is guaranteed, higher potential with another TD.
Sit
Derek Carr, QB – Las Vegas Raiders (Thomas Christopher)
The Josh McDaniels project hasn’t worked out so far for the Raiders, a team that was expected to be playoff contenders this season. The offense has had its struggles while incorporating Davante Adams into the mix, while the defense has been putrid for another year – shocker. With Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow now landing on IR, the ceiling for Derek Carr has dropped dramatically. In Week 10 the Raiders face the Colts, and I’m expecting a run-heavy approach by the offense. Carr putting up a big game is possible, but unlikely. I’m rolling with a better option on my fantasy football team if I have one.
