Fantasy Football: Start or Sit – Week 11

fantasy football start sit

Week 11 of the NFL season is here; with only a couple weeks left until the end of the fantasy football regular season. Between injuries, bye weeks, and unexpected play, this year has been one to remember. To keep you covered week in and week out, The League Winners are here to help you with any start or sit questions you have. Spending the week agonizing over who to start in your flex? Put your mind to rest and rely on us to do the dirty work for you. If you missed last week’s picks, you can see them here.

Start

Miles Sanders, RB – Philadelphia Eagles (Thomas Christopher)

After being bottled up by the Washington Commanders defense, I’m expecting Miles Sanders to bounce-back in Week 11. Sanders has been mostly a TD-dependent RB in fantasy football this season; but against a soft Colts front seven, I expect him to find paydirt in this week’s matchup. Plus, after losing their first game of the year, I believe the Eagles will try to assert themselves in this game. I wasn’t high on Sanders this season, but I’m expecting at least 15 points from him this week.

David Montgomery, RB – Chicago Bears (Aaron St. Denis)

Brian Robinson, RB – Washington Commanders (Jeremy Shulman)

After a PPR RB15 finish last week, Robinson is set to smash this week against the worst rushing D in the league in the Houston Texans. With 26 carries, 86 yards, and a touchdown a week ago against a middle-of-the-pack Eagles rush defense, Robinson should be in store for a bigger day; even if the workload is diminished for whatever reason. Antonio Gibson should also have a very good day with McKissic on IR. But his increased passing game usage should continue to mean more rushes for Robinson. Fire up Robinson in your fantasy football lineups.

Darnell Mooney, WR – Chicago Bears (Sheldon Hand)

I’m sticking with the theme here; three straight weeks believing in the Bears! This week it is Darnell Mooney. Somehow he is only ranked as the WR24 on FantasyPros, yet he’s in a smash spot against the Falcons. The Falcons are bleeding fantasy football points to the WR position, allowing the second most points on average. Four times this year they have allowed a team’s WR1 to score multiple TDs. The Bears are on fire right now, and I expect Mooney can find the endzone at least once. I am confidently starting him over guys like Pittman, D.J. Moore, and Devonta Smith, who are currently ranked higher than him.

Sit

Keenan Allen, WR – Los Angeles Chargers (Thomas Christopher)

It hurts to put some of may favorite players on this list in back-to-back weeks. I was wrong on Derek Carr last week, but I think that Keenan Allen is a landmine for fantasy football managers this week. Despite getting in a full practice to end the week, it’s impossible to trust Allen in Week 11. He’s practiced before only to sit out, and he’s only played in two matchups this season. I’m waiting at least another week before I put Allen in my lineups; even if it comes back to bite me this week.

Brandin Cooks, WR – Houston Texans (Aaron St. Denis)

Trey McBride, TE – Arizona Cardinals (Jeremy Shulman)

James Conner, RB – Arizona Cardinals (Sheldon Hand)
