Fantasy Football 2021: Late Waiver IDP Pickups – Week 4

Entering Week 4 of the 2021 season, we are here with last minute fantasy football IDP waivers to help solidify your team. Below are the previous waivers that were recommended and if they are worth keeping, or are droppable.  I try to do my best to give you guys the best data out there on a weekly basis. However, sometimes coaches, schemes, in-game injuries, game flow etc. dictate what/how much someone is playing.

Previous Picks

Zach Baun NO – Droppable: Baun’s snap count has decreased and he has struggled mightily. The Saints want to give rookie second round pick Pere Werner as much playing time as possible.

Alex Anzalone DET – Keeper: Anzalone continues to get almost 100 percent of the snaps for the Lions. In fantasy football we know playing time creates opportunity. The numbers might not be there yet, but Anzalone has the potential to be a decent week-to-week fill in.

B.J. Goodson NYJ – Droppable: Goodson retired from the NFL after just playing one game with the Jets. I thought he would’ve been an immediate starter but the Jets decided to give the young guys more playing time instead.

Azeez Al-Shaair SF – Keeper: Al-Shaair has been getting 90 percent plus of the defensive snaps the last two weeks and has settled in well. He isn’t putting monster numbers yet, but look for those to start pickup as he gets more comfortable on the field making plays.

Week 4 Pickups

Tae Crowder – NYG –  With Blake Martinez out for the season it is up to Tae Crowder to step up on the team. Crowder will be wearing the green dot on the helmet, meaning he will be getting the plays from the sidelines. Crowder is a must-add in fantasy football for the rest of the season. Martinez had over 150 tackles last season, finishing in the top five in total IDP rankings. The volume is there for Crowder.

Kendall Fuller – WFT– Fuller has seen his tackle numbers go up since the start of the season. This is a good sign for us in the IDP world, especially if it’s coming from the cornerback position. The CB spot isn’t one historically to produce high tackles, so we’ll take what we can get. Fuller is has  combined 23 tackles thru the first three games. Combine that with a chance to get pass-deflections and INTs, and Fuller can be good IDP add. He has also seen snap percentage increase, as he had 100 percent of the snaps last week. Grab Fuller!

Cole Holcomb – WFT – Holcomb is yet another IDP producer from the WFT. Holcomb has a combined 31 tackles on the season thus far and is playing 100 percent of the snaps. I look for this play to continue to get better and excel from here on out.
