The 2025 Senior Bowl has come and gone, and I was fortunate enough to attend the event, and speak to some of its players. Prior to the event, we looked at potential targets for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, we’ll look at which players the team should be targeting now that the event is over. But first, we will highlight the players in the previous article and how they may have helped or hurt themselves.
Targets for the Jacksonville Jaguars for 2025
Wide Receivers
Tez Johnson, WR – Oregon
Johnson was a player that turned heads at the Senior Bowl. His size is a concern, but in this setting he thrived. Johnson was quick in and out of breaks and got separation all week in drills and team scrimmages. My question is how does the NFL see him with his small size?
Tutu Atwell was drafted higher than expected, but has not lived up to his draft capital so far. Johnson did what he was supposed to do in a week where corners do not press or put hands on the receivers. It would have been more concerning if he did not shine. Jacksonville needs an outside receiver more than a slot player, and Johnson will be drafted too high for the Jaguars with all their other pressing needs.
Pat Bryant, WR – Illinois
Bryant is a projected fourth-round pick going into the week and did not do anything to hurt his stock. He was not able to differentiate himself from the pack, but did have some nice one-on-one reps on day three. He is a bigger receiver that does well on contested catches. If the Jaguars decide to wait on wide receiver, Bryant could be a good target on day three.
Jalen Royals, WR – Utah State
Royals had eyes on him for all the practices and he did not disappoint. He was able to beat defenders all week and showed his sure hands. Royals will be a day two player, so the Jaguars could target him. However, if they do not select him there, Royals will most likely be gone in round three. Royals played 87 percent of his snaps outside, but does show versatility and experience of playing in the slot as well.

Offensive Line
Wyatt Milum, OT – West Virginia
Milum was playing inside at guard and center this week at the Senior Bowl. He played all of his snaps at LT for West Virginia this year, so this week he wanted to show versatility for the NFL Draft. He was impressive for most of the week showing good hands and feet. Milum would be a target for the Jaguars in the third round, since they do have two third round picks.
Do y’all realize how impressive this rep was by Wyatt Milum?

Jack Nelson, OT – Wisconsin
Nelson withdrew from the Senior Bowl, but will be an option for the Jaguars on day three where he is projected for the 5th Round.
Logan Brown, OT – Kansas
Brown showed some good things this week and got more reps in a pro style passing attack. Before this week, he was projected as an undrafted free agent. However, after his performance he may have moved himself up to a possible late day three player. He would be more developmental pick but someone the Jaguars could find late in the draft that has very nice upside.
Defensive Line
Josaiah Stewart, Edge – Michigan
Josaiah Stewart was difficult to block using speed off the edge and power to constantly disrupt the passer. Stewart left the Senior Bowl after day two and will likely be gone in the late first round. The Jaguars may have to move up from the second round if they would want to select him.

Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge – Boston College
Ezeiruaku showed off his speed on the edge and at times looked unblockable. He is another riser from the Edge class and looks to be slotted to go in the second round. He does not have as much hype as Stewart, so the Jaguars may be able to get him at their pick in the second round.
Darius Alexander, DT – Toledo
Alexander had a slow start to the Senior Bowl but after Day 1 he was dominant. He showed off a quick burst on drills and uses his hands well to make sure that lineman do not get leverage. In team scrimmage reps, Alexander was able to disrupt run plays and cause pressure up the middle on passes.
I was able to catch up to him for an interview where he talked his favorite more and what positions the NFL has talked to him about. He could be a target to help with the rush defense for the Jaguars in round three.
Aeneas Peebles, DT – Virginia Tech
Peebles was a standout all week in drills and on the live scrimmage snaps. Much like Alexander, he seemed unblockable, and his explosion allowed for him to get a quick step constantly. His stock is rising, so he may not be in the third round. However, if he is there, the Jaguars would be smart to think about adding him to the defense.

Defensive Backs
Trey Amos, CB – Ole Miss
Amos limped off of the practice field on day two with a lower leg injury and then did not practice the rest of the week. Yet before his injury, Amos was impressive in coverage and the buzz around him making it into the first round was getting louder. Amos could be a steal for the Jaguars if he’s able to fall into the second round.
Mac McWilliams, CB – UCF
McWilliams had a good week of practice and showed up on multiple big plays. He was good in coverage, showing an ability to bat the ball away. He also has good hips to change direction.
We spoke about how he excels in press as well as zone coverage. McWilliams helped himself all week and is solidly a day two player in the NFL Draft. If the Jaguars decide to not take corner with their first round pick, McWilliams is a solid choice in round two or three.

Andrew Mukuba, S – Texas
Makuba withdrew from the Senior Bowl, but is a projected day two pick. The Jaguars could look into him if they decide to move on from Andre Cisco.
Additional Targets for the Jacksonville Jaguars
Offensive Players
Anthony Belton, OT – NC State
Belton was impressive in drills against some of the elite edge rushers that were at the Senior Bowl. He showed good feet and held his own against spin moves and other rushing attacks.
Marcus Mbow, OL – Purdue
Mbow showed good reps playing in all of the offensive line positions. He maintained leverage and was receiving some buzz for his performance during the week. His versatility to play multiple positions could be a great value pick for the Jaguars on Day 3 of the NFL Draft.
Jack Bech, WR – TCU
Bech was one of the more impressive receivers all week. He made plays at every practice and shows consistent hands against tight coverage. During the game on Saturday he continued to make tough catches, including the game winner. Bech shows good route running and can go get the ball in 50-50 situations. If the Jaguars look to wait on receiver he may be a possible target for Jacksonville on Day Two of the NFL draft.

Defensive Players
David Walker, EDGE – Central Arkansas
Walker showed that he belonged with the big boys all week in practice. Coming from an FCS school, the Senior Bowl can help increase exposure for the NFL Draft.
Walker was quick off the edge and able to use his hands to get good leverage in pass rushing drills. He also showed good power to push lineman back into the quarterback.
David Walker from FCS school Central Arkansas did exactly what small school players have to do at the Senior Bowl: Kick ass and standout against competition they haven’t played against. Showed off his power all week. pic.twitter.com/FvPVhvk0Kd

Upton Stout, CB – Western Kentucky
Stout did not play in the Senior Bowl game but was impressive all week. He was sticky in coverage, making plays on deep and short routes in practice. If the Jaguars decide to pass on Will Johnson, Stout could be a player on day two that could start right away for Jacksonville.

Dan Jackson, S – Georgia
Jackson is likely a day three player, but he really stood out at the Senior Bowl. Jackson had good coverage in the red zone portion of practice and could be a good addition to the safety rotation. He also had a huge hit in practice to jar the ball free in the end zone.
