The Jacksonville Jaguars just hired their new head coach but are still looking for a general manager. A rumor is that Ian Cunningham the assistant GM in Chicago has interest in the position. There is uncertainty but they still will be present at the Senior Bowl and have plenty of holes to fill on their team. They may not find their number five pick in Mobile Alabama but they can look for late steals to help improve their team quickly. Let’s take a look at some of targets that could be on the Jaguars list.
Wide Receivers
The previous staff brought in Gabe Davis to be on the outside and he was a disappointment. Also Christian Kirk may be a cap casualty and the team will need competition for the slot with Parker Washington.
Tez Johnson, WR Oregon
Johnson has been impressive the last two years at Oregon with 2080 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns. He has a smaller frame but he has quick acceleration and great in yards after the catch. He has played 87% of his snaps in the slot so he would be looking at that role for the Jaguars.
Pat Bryant, WR Illinois
Bryant had his best year of his career in 2024 with 984 yards and 10 touchdowns. At 6’3″ he has the size to win 50/50 balls and had a 69% contested catch rate in 2024. Bryant has a large catch radius and could be competition for Gabe Davis playing opposite Brian Thomas Jr.
Jalen Royals, WR Utah State
Royals only played seven games in 2024 but finished with 839 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 7.9 yards after the catch per receptions and has experience both playing in the slot and out wide. He could be a player Liam Coen wants to use in the slot much like Chris Godwin.
Trey Amos is such a smart & instinctual defender.

Offensive Line
The offensive line is a big need but left tackle in particular. Cam Robinson is gone and Walker Little has not impressed.
Wyatt Milum, T West Virginia
Milum is a projected second rounder so the Jaguars would need to see where they prioritze LT. In all four years he has had 600 or more snaps and finished with high grades in both run blocking and pass blocking. Millum only allowed six pressures this year and has not allowed a sack since 2023.

Jack Nelson, T Wisconsin
If the Jaguars want to wait to add depth to left tackle, Nelson could be an option. Right now on nflmockdraftbase he is a projected fifth rounder. Nelson is another player that has experience with over 3,100 snaps in four years at Wisconsin. He only allowed one sack and nine pressure in 2024 with a pass blocking efficiency of 98.6. Nelson could provide competition for Walker Little at the left tackle position.
Logan Brown, T Kansas
Brown is the lowest rated of the three prospects in this section. He is projected to be an undrafted free agent but a strong senior bowl could make him a day three pick. Brown did not have a lot of experience until 2024. This past year he had 619 snaps and received his highest blocking grades by PFF. Brown has never given a sack in college and had a pass blocking efficiency of 98.9. He played all of his snaps at right tackle so this would be a player for depth and possibly to be a swing tackle for both sides of the line.
Defensive Line
Josh Hines-Allen did not have as big of a year in 2024 but Travon Walker has been showing improvement each year and has been good on the other side. The Jaguars still have trouble getting pressure consistently so a third player in the rotation would be important. The two defensive tackles drafted last year were from a different GM and they did not make much of an impact. The Jaguars need a run stuffer that can also get pressure up the middle to help Hines-Allen and Walker.
Josaiah Stewart, Edge Michigan
Stewart thrived in the Wink Martindale defense this year and had 37 pressures along with 9 sacks. Early in the year he was unblockable and teams started to get rid of the ball quickly to avoid his playmaking ability. Stewart also is excellent against the run and had a 83.7 grade according to PFF.

Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge Boston College
Ezeiruaku’s production exploded in 2024. He only had 12 sacks in three years, but in 2024 he finished with 14. He almost double his high in total pressures with 60. Like Stewart he is also good against the run. PFF has given him over an 80 grade in rush defense the last three years.
Darius Alexander, DT Toledo
Alexander has been very productive the last two years at Toledo. He has over 1,200 snaps that have lead to 83 pressures and 11 sacks. Alexander had his highest rush defense grade this year at 90.3, so he is versatile in how he can be used.
Aeneas Peebles, DT Virginia Tech
Peebles only spent one year at Virginia Tech but continued his strong play from 2023 at Duke. The last two years he has had 70 pressures and 9 sacks from the tackle position. Like Alexander, Peebles is strong against the rush and can add pressure up the middle.
Defensive Backs
Tyson Campbell just got a huge deal and when healthy he is a lock down defender on one side. Jarrian Jones was impressive in the slot and should be solid moving forward. The Jaguars need help opposite Campbell and improvement at safety. Andre Cisco is a free agent and had a tough 2024, so the team may look for new blood at that position.
Trey Amos, CB Ole Miss
Amos only spent one year at Ole Miss but had the most snaps of his career with 841. He played on the boundary 759 of those snaps and only allowed a 51% catch rate when he was targeted. Amos finished with three interceptions and 10 passes batted down. He would provide a great option opposite Tyson Campbell.

Mac McWilliams, CB UCF
Mcwilliams had his highest graded year in 2024 with a 84.8 coverage grade by PFF. He was targeted 38 times but only allowed 119 yards and a 55% catch rate. McWilliams played mostly outside in 2024 but in 2023 he played more in the slot. This could provide versatility and allow Jarrian Jones to be moved around if McWilliams can also play slot corner.
Andrew Mukuba, S Texas
The Jaguars in 2024 struggled with coverage from the safety position and Mukuba is very strong in that aspect. In 2024 he had a 89.7 grade by PFF and over half of his snaps were him in coverage. He had 57 tackles in his last year so he is strong in run support as well. Mukuba had five interceptions and six pass breakups in 2024 and could be a player to target in the second or third round.
