The Impact Injury Report for Week 3; for all your up to date injury information.
There are many things that can affect fantasy football lineups, but injuries are a big area of concern. Becoming a fantasy football league winner is all about how you adjust to the injury report regarding players on your roster. So let’s take a look at the Impact Injury Report – Week 3. If you missed last week’s injury report, you can find that here.
Impact Injury Report – Week 3
Joe Burrow (QB) – Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow and the Bengals have struggled thus far, and find themselves at 0-2 early in the season. The most concerning thing to come out of the Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens is that Burrow aggravated his calf injury late in the game. While there are no details currently, there is some concern that Burrow could miss some time.
Fantasy Impact: Very High
Anthony Richardson (QB) – Indianapolis Colts
Rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson already has three rushing touchdowns through two weeks of the season. However, on his second rushing TD of the game on Sunday, Richardson took a hit in the end zone, hitting his head on the ground. He would not return to the game due to a concussion.
The problem is Anthony Richardson probably suffered a head injury last week
So that makes for extra sensitivity this week

Fantasy Impact: High
Saquon Barkley (RB) – New York Giants
Running back Saquon Barkley racked up two touchdowns in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals prior to leaving with an ankle injury. Following an MRI on Monday, the team announced that Barkley has an “ordinary” ankle sprain and will miss approximately three weeks.
Fantasy Impact: Very High
David Montgomery (RB) – Detroit Lions
Montgomery was carted off the field during the Lions’ 37-31 OT loss to the Seattle Seahawks and did not return to the game. The injury is to Montgomery’s thigh — quad area — and he is likely going to miss a few weeks, as he is listed as week-to-week. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs will get a chance to prove himself in the absence of Montgomery, and the rookie is hoping to live up to the preseason hype.
Fantasy Impact: Medium
Davante Adams (WR) – Oakland Raiders / Jaylen Waddle (WR) – Miami Dolphins
Both Adams and Waddle suffered head injuries on Sunday in each of their team’s games and are in concussion protocol at this time. Each of the wide receivers have a big impact if they have to miss any time due to a concussion, so closely monitor both of them throughout the week to see if they will play in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Very High
Nick Chubb (RB) – Cleveland Browns
Chubb was carted off the field on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a leg injury — so bad that they would not show the replay on the broadcast. After seeing the replay of the injury, it was in good taste that a replay was not shown on live television.

Running back Jerome Ford came in and finished the game with 16 carries for 106 yards and a receiving touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: High
Austin Ekeler (RB) – Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers have had a rough start to the season — like the Bengals — and they were unable to add to the win column on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Running back Austin Ekeler missed the game due to an ankle injury, and there is no timetable for his return. If Ekeler misses much time, the Chargers might have to look at bringing in some veteran running back help.
Fantasy Impact: Very High
Jamaal Williams (RB) – New Orleans Saints
Jamaal Williams also suffered an injury on MNF in Week 2. Williams was dealt a hamstring injury and would leave the game shortly before the end of the second quarter. Williams is unlikely to play in Week 3, but Kendre Miller should return. Alvin Kamara makes his return from suspension in Week 4.
Fantasy Impact: High
Odell Beckham Jr. (WR) – Baltimore Ravens
OBJ left early during the Ravens 27-24 win against the Bengals on Sunday because of an ankle injury. He ended with three receptions for 29 yards, but missed the final quarter of the game. Beckham Jr. has yet to find his pre-knee injury self this season, but we are still in the early stages of the season. It is unknown if he will be ready to go in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Medium
Logan Thomas (TE) – Washington Commanders
Logan Thomas has had an injury-plagued career and this season is no different, unfortunately. Thomas suffered a concussion on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Could this be Cole Turner’s time to shine for the Commanders? It might be.
Fantasy Impact: Low
