The Impact Injury Report for Week 4; for all your up-to-date injury information.
There are many things that can affect fantasy football lineups, but injuries are a big area of concern. Becoming a fantasy football league winner is all about how you adjust to the injury report regarding players on your roster. So let’s take a look at the Impact Injury Report – Week 4. If you missed last week’s injury report, you can find that here.
Mike Williams (WR) – Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers finally put a number in the win column, but it came at a steep cost. Wide receiver Mike Williams will miss the rest of the season after suffering a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday’s win against the Minnesota Vikings.
An MRI today revealed that Chargers’ WR Mike Williams suffered a torn ACL, per source.

Williams was having a great season with 50.2 fantasy points (PPR) and was ranked as WR13 prior to the knee injury, on Sunday. Both Williams and teammate Keenan Allen were doing their share of torching opposing secondaries, but the Chargers will now look to replace the strong start by Williams.
Where do the Chargers and your fantasy team go from here? Quentin Johnston or Joshua Palmer are two receivers that will look to fill Williams’ shoes for the rest of the season.
Fantasy Impact: High
Derek Carr (QB) – New Orleans Saints
Derek Carr suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday’s 18-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers and is listed as week-to-week.
"Not as serious as feared. My understanding – AC joint sprain. We'll see if he's able to come back. Would be a little surprised if he does play this week, but he did avoid major injury."

An AC joint sprain will likely keep Carr out of this coming week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So, it will be quarterback Jameis Winston versus his old team. This is an injury that you should keep an eye on as it could easily become a bigger problem if Carr is manhandled and lands hard on the same shoulder.
Fantasy Impact: Medium-High
Jimmy Garoppolo (QB) – Las Vegas Raiders
Jimmy G is currently in concussion protocol after slamming his head on the turf during Sunday night’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers’ pressured Garoppolo quite often during the game, and he is now dealing with a concussion following a performance which saw him throw for 324 passing yards and two touchdowns. However, he also had three interceptions and was sacked four times as well.
Fantasy Impact: Medium
Gus Edwards (RB) – Baltimore Ravens
As if the season-ending injury to J.K. Dobbins wasn’t enough for the Ravens, the team has also lost backup running back Gus Edwards to a concussion. And to add insult to injury — literally — the Ravens lost in overtime to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Running back Justice Hill is also banged up and missed the Week 3 contest against the Colts, so this is a situation worth monitoring for the next few weeks.
Fantasy Impact: Medium
Jonathan Mingo (WR) – Carolina Panthers
Mingo — like Garoppolo and Edwards — is also dealing with a concussion that the rookie wideout suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks. On top of the concussion, Mingo’s production has not been up to par so far this season, as the receiver only has eight receptions for 64 yards and zero touchdowns. Whether that is on him or rookie quarterback Bryce Young remains to be seen, but a head injury never helps when trying to build rapport with your quarterback.
Fantasy Impact: Low
