The Impact Injury Report for Week 5; for all your up-to-date injury information.
There are many things that can affect fantasy football lineups, but injuries are a big area of concern. Becoming a fantasy football league winner is all about how you adjust to the injury report regarding players on your roster. So let’s take a look at the Impact Injury Report – Week 6. If you missed last week’s injury report, you can find that here.
Justin Jefferson (WR) – Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings’ star wide receiver left Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs due to a hamstring injury, and it has been reported that Jefferson will be placed on Injured Reserve in Week 6.

With Jefferson most likely missing the next game, Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson should see a bump in targets when the Viking visit the Chicago Bears in Week 6.
Fantasy Impact: High
Tank Dell (WR) – Houston Texans
Dell, the rookie wideout for the Texans, is currently in concussion protocol after exiting the team’s game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The rookie is averaging 17.1 yards per reception and has two touchdowns on the season. The head injury came on an awkward catch by Dell in the second quarter against the Falcons.

Due to the injury, Nico Collins should be a must-start on fantasy teams. However, Collins is probably already being started in most leagues, even prior to the injury to Dell.
Fantasy Impact: Medium
Travis Kelce (TE) – Kansas City Chiefs
No, this is not due to heartbreak over a split with Taylor Swift, so carry on. Travis Kelce suffered a non-contact ankle injury against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. He was able to return to the game, however, this is something that should be monitored as he was limited in practice on Monday.

Kelce’s toughness has never been questioned, but his return to action on Sunday afternoon definitely helped his team win the game. Following his return, he scored a touchdown, and the Chiefs pulled off a win

Fantasy Impact: Medium-High
Anthony Richardson (QB) – Indianapolis Colts
This is the second time that Richardson has landed on the Impact Injury Report this season, although this time it is due to a shoulder injury. Richardson suffered an injury to the AC joint in his throwing shoulder, and it has already been announced that he will miss the Colts Week 6 game.

Right shoulder injury
This sounds like a type III or possibly type IV AC sprain.
These are very severe.
50% of Type IIIs undergo surgery, 50% return with just rehab
Type IV’s always require surgery.Remember this is his throwing shoulder,… pic.twitter.com/u7ehu96Sa1

The team has not announced if Richardson will be placed on the IR at this time, but it is something to watch for as the week progresses.
Fantasy Impact: Medium-High
Daniel Jones (QB) – New York Giants
Jones suffered a neck injury in the fourth quarter of the Giants loss to the Dolphins, but the team is still hoping that he will be available for Sunday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

If Jones is unable to play in Week 6, Tyrod Taylor would get the start for the Giants. Jones has had an underwhelming season thus far, and it would be best that the team let Jones heal fully before having him start again.
Fantasy Impact: Medium
James Conner (RB) – Arizona Cardinals
Conner suffered a knee injury on Sunday, and did not return to the game. There has not been a diagnosis on the knee injury at this time.
There’s nothing obvious on James Conner’s last run. Primary concerns are a contusion from the contact or MCL sprain.

Conner will likely miss time, but it is unknown how much at this point.
“I’m not quite sure yet, but it looks like [Conner could miss] a little bit of time,” Gannon told Arizona Sports on Monday. “We’re still working through that. James will be back at some point but honestly just wanted to add another back for some depth there to make sure we’re OK there for practice and for the games.” (Per NBC Sports)
Fantasy Impact: High
De’Von Achane (RB) – Miami Dolphins
One of the bigger injuries that happened this weekend was a knee injury suffered by De’Von Achane of the Dolphins. The extent of the knee injury is not known, but the team and doctors are evaluating the extent of the injury.
Mike McDaniel when asked if De’Von Achane is undergoing an MRI for his knee injury:
“There’s various things that he’s undergoing, handshakes as well, high fives. I think from all accounts he had a good breakfast and lunch.”

Coach Mike McDaniel does not seem overly concerned about the injury, and we should know more in the next day or so.
Fantasy Impact: Very High
Khalil Herbert (RB) – Chicago Bears
Herbert suffered an ankle injury during the Bears victory over the Washington Commanders on Thursday night, and will miss a couple of weeks.

The bears’ running back room is banged up, but it sounds as if Roschon Johnson will get the chance to prove himself until Herbert returns.
Fantasy Impact: Medium-High
