The NFL Impact Injury Report for Week 7; for all your up-to-date injury information.
There are many things that can affect fantasy football lineups, but injuries are a big area of concern. Becoming a fantasy football league winner is all about how you adjust to the injury report regarding players on your roster. So let’s take a look at the NFL Impact Injury Report – Week 8. If you missed last week’s injury report, you can find that here.
Deshaun Watson (QB) – Cleveland Browns
Watson continues to deal with a shoulder injury to his throwing arm, and he hurt it again in Sunday’s win against the Colts. Watson left the game and was tested for a concussion after hitting his head on the turf. However, he passed the concussion tests, but it ended up being his shoulder that kept him out of the game.

With the shoulder injury to Watson’s throwing arm, keep an eye on this situation if you have him on your roster.
Fantasy Impact: High
Jerome Ford (RB) – Cleveland Browns
The Browns already lost running back Nick Chubb for the season, and now Ford is dealing with a high-ankle sprain that could sideline him for a couple of weeks.
Update: #Browns RB Jerome Ford is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with an ankle injury, per @AdamSchefterhttps://t.co/ZHzY8FODva pic.twitter.com/zMNG5LYxHk

For all of those fantasy football players that have Kareem Hunt, it might be time to sell high while you can. Or hold onto him and ride the wave for the next couple of weeks until Ford comes back from his ankle injury.
Fantasy Impact: Medium-High
Christian Watson (WR) – Green Bay Packers
Watson is currently dealing with a knee injury, but not much is known about it at this time. He hasn’t been on the field much so far this season due to injuries, and this injury just adds to his woes.
Not Good: Packers WR Christian Watson went down with what looks to be a knee injury.

The Packers’ offense has sputtered off and on throughout the season, but Watson missing a lot of time is not helping the situation. Look for an increase in targets for Romeo Doubs until Watson can come back, especially against the Minnesota Vikings this coming Sunday. Assuming quarterback Jordan Love can get the ball down the field with the pressure from the front four of the Vikings.
Fantasy Impact: Medium-High
Dawson Knox (TE) – Buffalo Bills
As if the Bills’ injury woes and inconsistent play weren’t enough, Dawson Knox will need wrist surgery and is expected to be out a while.
With the news of Dawson Knox needing wrist surgery which will knock him out for a good stretch, it's starting to feel like this #Bills season just isn't meant to be. The offense is scuffling, and I don't think the defense will ever overcome the huge injuries it has incurred.

However, the Bills are in a decent spot with rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid on the roster. Kincaid posted career-bests in receptions (8) and receiving yards (75) against the Patriots. If the Bills want to make the playoffs, they will need to use Kincaid effectively in the offense until Knox returns — and beyond.
Fantasy Impact: Medium
Luke Musgrave (TE) – Green Bay Packers
Tight end injuries appear to be this week’s winner, so check those Bingo cards to see if you had that on your card. Luke Musgrave went down with an ankle injury, but it is unknown if he will miss any time because of it.

Musgrave’s injury just adds to the injuries on the Packers’ offense, but this appears to be a minor injury.
Fantasy Impact: Low
Gerald Everett (TE) – Los Angeles Chargers
Initial reports were that Everett was dealing with a quad injury, but that is not the case apparently, with today’s reports.
#Chargers HC Brandon Staley said TE Gerald Everett is dealing with a hip injury not a quad as the team reported Sunday. He wouldn't offer any more information beyond that.
— Jeff Miller (@JeffMillerLAT) October 23, 2023
While there are no details at this time, a hip injury might be worse than a quad. However, we won’t speculate what we don’t know about. Everett is probably owned in deep leagues or dynasty, so there might be other options if he misses any time.
Fantasy Impact: Medium-Low
