NFL Week 3 Bets, Picks, and Predictions
Harry Prskalo
- Bears ML (+108)
- Steelers ML (-120)
- Ravens ML (-110)
- Joe Burrow O 1.5 Passing TD (-172)
- Tank Dell O 50.5 Rec Yards (-114)
Every season Joe Burrow and the Bengals start slow. Is it because they don’t play their stars in the preseason? Who knows, but this week they have a very favorable matchup against the Washington Commanders. Through two games the Commanders have allowed six passing touchdowns, which is the most in the NFL. Burrow should easily cross this line this week against this weak defense.
Tank Dell was one drop away from a big game last week and quite frankly. The Dell boom game is coming soon. Dell is on the field more than enough and when they pass the ball he is always running routes. CJ Stroud should look to connect on just one deep ball to Dell to get him over this mark.
Michael Cavallo
- Texans -2.5 (-105)
- Raiders -5.5 (-110)
- Cardinals +3 (-115)
- Brandon Aiyuk 80+ receiving yards (+125)
- Derek Carr 225+ passing yards (-145)
Entering Week 3, the Los Angeles Rams are coming off a loss against the Cardinals where they gave up 258 passing yards and multiple big plays. Rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. had a stellar game against the Rams, recording five catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Look for Brandon Aiyuk to follow in Harrison’s footsteps against a banged up Rams team.
As for quarterback Derek Carr, look for him to continue his hot start in Week 3. Carr is averaging 221.5 yards per game through Week 2. Last Week the former Raider recorded 243 yards against the Cowboys in winning fashion.
Brandyn Pokrass
- Buccaneers ML (-320)
- Saints -2.5 (-118)
- 49ers at Rams U 43.5 (-110)
- Nico Collins anytime TD (+135)
- Josh Allen 25+ rushing yards (-195)
With Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce possibly missing in action the Texans running game looks to be a bit weaker than usual. As a result, C.J. Stroud will have to carry the majority of the offensive load on Sunday. He will look for Collins early and often, especially in the red zone. I think it is a borderline lock that Collins gets in the endzone.
As for Josh Allen, I expect him to take over against a talented Jaguars defense. If the lanes are there, expect Allen to hit the line of 25 yards or more.
Evan Solomon
- Saints ML (-154)
- Ravens -1.5 (-102)
- Texans -2.5 (-105)
- Nico Collins 80+ receiving yards (+104)
- David Montgomery Anytime TD (-110)
The Vikings have proven themselves to be a good team with a formidable offense and a stoud defense, so the Texans will be forced to keep up. With Joe Mixon banged up and questionable going into the game, plus this game being likely a competitive game, the Texans will most likely rely on the passing game. Nico Collins has looked dominant throughout the start of the year, and this game looks to be no different. Expect Collins to get over 80 receiving yards in this nailbiter Sunday afternoon.
The Lions love to pound the rock and going up against the Cardinals and their weak rush defense, the Lions are likely to rely on a team strength to put up points against the formidable Cardinals offense. Expect them to use their strongest rusher in David Montgomery to get them into the endzone.
Brandon Haye
- Buccaneers -6.5 (-115)
- Seahawks -4.5 (-110)
- Browns vs Giants U38.5 (-110)
- Chris Godwin O 65.5 Rec Yards (-115)
- Brock Bowers O 44.5 Rec Yards (-115)
Godwin has been a monster this season since he is back in the slot. He has had 15 catches for 200 yards in the first two games. The Broncos have been fairly good against wide receivers so far this season but it is a little skewed with playing the Steelers last week. Patrick Surtain should follow Mike Evans which would give Godwin a better matchup.
Bowers has 15 receptions through two games and has gone over 50 receiving yards in both games. The Panthers have given up 15 targets in two games to opposing tight ends and tight ends are averaging over 50 receiving yards.
