NFL Week 5 Bets, Picks, and Predictions
Harry Prskalo
- Jaguars ML (-158)
- Panthers +3.5 (-102)
- Bengals ALT Spread +3.5 (-158)
- C.J. Stroud O 1.5 Passing TDs (-130)
- Joe Burrow O 1.5 Passing TDs (-128)
There is a saying that applies to these props again. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Stroud once again has no Mixon, which means they will air out this ball once again.
When it comes to Burrow. The Ravens defense has been beaten through the air, and with Burrow heating up. This line is an easy over for me once again.
Michael Cavallo
- Ravens ML (-142)
- Raiders (+2.5) (-102)
- Cowboys (+2.5) (-104)
- Nico Collins +70 receiving yards (-188)
- Lamar Jackson 50+ rushing yards (-150)
Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has been tearing it up this season, averaging 122.25 receiving yards through the first four games. Collins is coming off a monster game against Jacksonville where he recorded 15 receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown. Look for his high production to continue this week against the Bills.
As for Lamar Jackson, the Ravens quarterback is averaging 77 rushing yards per game this season. Jackson lowest rushing production came against the Raiders during Week 2 where he recorded 45 yards. He is facing a weak Bengal’s defense in Week 5 and will use his legs to carry the Ravens to victory.
Brandyn Pokrass
- Patriots vs. Dolphins U 36.5 (-132)
- Saints +5.5 (-105)
- Bengals ML (+120)
- Garrett Wilson ATD (+195)
- Dontayvion Wicks +60 receiving yards (+128)
After struggles to start the year(just like my betting percentages), I see Garrett Wilson finding paydirt this weekend. He is too talented to not eventually breakout, and a rocky week for the Jets will result in the wideout getting force-fed. As a result, he will find the end zone.
As for Wicks, the Rams have a poor secondary that has been carved up by many teams. Jordan Love will look to push the ball down the field, and Wicks is one of his better options to do so. Expect a big game from the speedy wideout.
Evan Solomon
- Vikings ML (-136)
- Commanders -3.5 (-102)
- Steelers ML (-154)
- D’Andre Swift Anytime TD (+125)
- Aaron Jones 70+ rushing yards (+114)
Coming off his best game of the year, D’Andre Swift gets to face a Panthers defense that has been gashed by seemingly everyone, and this game won’t be any different. Swift has struggled this season up until week 4, but last week he showed his upside and facing a bottom of the league defense bodes well for his chances of scoring a TD in this game.
Aaron Jones and the Vikings face the Jets this week, and while the Jets passing defense has been top of the league, their rushing defense has not, allowing 128.5 rushing yards per game. They’ve only shut down the run once this year and the Vikings have proven themselves to be a formidable offense, so this should be a good matchup for Jones. He’s rushed for over the 90 yard mark in each game this season except against the 49ers, and is on track to do it again this week as well.
Brandon Haye
- Bills vs Texans O 47.5 (-105)
- Packer -3 (115)
- Broncos -2.5 (-120)
- Brian Thomas Jr O 50.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
- Kyren Williams O 18.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
The Colts give up 64% of its receiving yards to outside wide receivers and Brian Thomas Jr. has lined up outside on 78% of his snaps. He has hit over 50 yards in two out of four games and the two he missed by less than 3 yards. The Colts defense allows the ninth most yards to wide receivers and might be without Kenny Moore this week.
The Packers have given up over 30 yards receiving to running backs in all four games and given up over 40 in the last three games. Kyren William has gone over this mark twice this season and in three of the four games he has three or more receptions. He has over a 79% snap share in all four games and is the only Rams’ running back with any receptions.
