So what injuries occurred this week and how will they affect your lineup? Let’s take a dive into the week’s injuries for Preseason Week 3.

Jerry Jeudy (WR) – Denver Broncos

Jerry Jeudy suffered a moderate injury, per reports, and is expected to miss a few weeks with the injury. The Denver Broncos cannot seem to keep wide receivers healthy the past few years.

If you haven’t drafted in your fantasy league yet, be wary of taking Jeudy too early, as he will be hampered by the hamstring injury for at least the first few weeks of the season.

If you have rostered Jeudy already and are looking for a streaming option, take a look at rookie Broncos receiver Marvin Mims. He has had a decent training camp and preseason, and will likely have a big impact this season, especially with Jeudy being hobbled with the hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact: Medium

DJ Chark (WR) – Carolina Panthers

Another wide receiver, another hamstring injury. Although Chark’s injury is much less severe than Jeudy’s, it is still worth monitoring. DJ Chark should be good to go for Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons on September 10.

Mecole Hardman (WR) – New York Jets

Yet another wide receiver was injured on Saturday, as Mecole Hardman hurt his finger in the Jets’ preseason game against the New York Giants. However, Hardman appears to be fine, per head coach Robert Saleh. This appears to be a false alarm, for now, and Hardman is a late-round pick in most drafts and deep leagues anyway.

The fantasy football impact of a No. 3 wide receiver is minimal in most cases, but Hardman has the talent and speed to make an impact with the Jets.

Fantasy Impact: Low

Jakeem Grant Sr. (WR/KR) – Cleveland Browns

One of the worst injuries of the weekend happened to Jakeem Grant Sr. in the Browns’ preseason finale on Saturday. Grant suffered a season-ending knee injury and what is feared to be a torn patella.

This could not have happened at a worse time, as Grant was coming off of a 2022 campaign in which he missed the season due to an Achilles injury. The game was his first since coming back from the Achilles’ injury.

From a fantasy perspective, Grant likely wasn’t going to be much more than a kick returner. His stock was already low coming off of last season’s injury, but you have to feel bad nonetheless.
