Outlook for Dymere Miller with Rutgers Football in 2024

Miller chose Rutgers because he wanted to play at an elite level and within the Big Ten Conference. Now at the Power Five level, Miller can showcase his talents on a bigger stage, trying to advance his career toward the NFL.

In his final year of eligibility, the former Monmouth captain is a versatile wide receiver with playmaking abilities. His style of play is similar to Rutgers’ senior wideout Christian Dremel.

Like Dremel, Miller can run multiple route combinations, racking yardage after the catch. Miller’s speed will impact Rutgers’ offense next season, allowing offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca to call plays to stretch the field. Miller is an explosive playmaker, an asset Rutgers hasn’t had over the past two seasons.

The former Coatesville High School (Coatesville, Pennsylvania) prospect is dangerous in space, making defenders miss when he changes directions. Miller’s skillset makes him ideal for either the slot or out wide.

According to Pro Football Focus, Miller received the highest-graded returning Big Ten wide receiver, receiving a 92.1 rating. The former All-American scored 2.2 points higher than the second-place player, Elijah Scarratt from Indiana.

The new Scarlet Knight has high expectations and was rated Rutgers’ most talented newcomer by 274sports. With Miller and quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis in the mix, Rutgers’ offense has improved significantly.

Kaliakmanis offers a quick release with good ball speed and consistency on short to intermediate passes, making Miller an ideal candidate for plenty of targets in 2024. If he can replicate his success from his past seasons at Monmouth, then Rutgers fans will have plenty of reasons to celebrate in 2024.
