Underdog Pick’em Corner Week 6: Cowboys vs. Chargers

Welcome to Underdog Pick’em Corner—your best bet for finding those surefire winners in every NFL game. Week 6 is here and today we will focus on the Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers. For the full list of available Pick’em options, head to www.underdogfantasy.com. For now, let’s look at Underdog Pick’em Corner: Cowboys vs. Chargers.

Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott, QB

Dak Prescott Prop to Target: Higher than 33.5 passing attempts

Prescott has gone over this total in three of five games this season, topping out at 40 pass attempts against Arizona in Week 3. This game is going to be a shootout and Dak should be passing early and often. Look for him to set a season-high in pass attempts as the Cowboys try to keep pace with the high-powered Chargers.

Tony Pollard, RB

Tony Pollard Prop to Target: Higher than 68.5 rushing yards

Pollard started the season with three straight games over 70 rushing yards before recording back-to-back games with less than 50 rushing yards. The two dud games have been against elite run defences which is not what he faces this week. Look for the Chargers run defence to be a get-right spot for Pollard on the ground.

CeeDee Lamb, WR

CeeDee Lamb Prop to Target: Higher than 71.5 receptions

Lamb has had a similar season to that of Pollard. A hot start to the season followed by mixed results over the past few weeks. This week against the Chargers, Dallas will have to put up lots of points to have a chance. Lamb should have a solid chance at rebounding in this matchup. He should be able to record his second 100-yard receiving game of the year.

Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert, QB

Justin Herbert Prop to Target: Higher than 277.5 passing yards

Herbert threw for 405 yards in Week 4 against the high-scoring Minnesota Vikings, I expect this game to follow a similar script. The last team to touch the ball is likely to win this game, putting Herbert in a likely spot to be pass-happy.

Austin Ekeler, RB

Austin Ekeler Prop to Target: Higher than 85.5 total yards

Ekeler will be in the Chargers lineup for the first time since Week 1. I don’t normally like to bet on injured players in their return after a lengthy absence, but this total yards number of 85.5 is too low to pass up. Ekeler has the potential to go over this in receiving or rushing yards alone in any game. So I can’t pass up on the combined total in this one.

Keenan Allen, WR

Keenan Allen Prop to Target: Higher than 7.0 receptions

Allen has recorded games with 8 and 18 receptions already in this young season. This week he should see added opportunities with Mike Williams done for the season and should once again crack 10 receptions.
