Underdog Pick’em Corner Week 7: Lions vs. Ravens

Welcome to Underdog Pick’em Corner—your best bet for finding those surefire winners in every NFL game. Week 7 is here and today we will focus on the game between the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens. For the full list of available Pick’em options, head to Underdog. For now, let’s look at Underdog Pick’em Corner: Lions vs. Ravens.

Detroit Lions

Jared Goff, QB

Jared Goff Prop to Target: Lower than 246.5 passing yards

Goff has gone over this total only twice in six games this season and is unlikely to do so again against a Baltimore Ravens defence that currently ranks as the worst matchup for opposing quarterbacks. This one figures to be a tight defensive battle between two elite squads. Let’s stay on the lower side here.

Amon-Ra St Brown, WR

Amon-Ra St Brown Prop to Target: Higher than 6.0 receptions

St Brown has gone over this number in four of his five games this season and will have to do so again for the Lions to have a chance against Baltimore. It’s a bottom-six matchup this week for St Brown, but he is such a critical piece of this offence that they simply have no other option but to give him volume.

Sam LaPorta, TE

Sam LaPorta Prop to Target: Higher than 4.0 receptions

LaPorta is also going to hit the over on this number as he has in five of six games this season. I expect both him and St Brown to be featured prominently as the 1-2 punch for the Lions so they should both meet the reception total, but I expect it to be lots of long, slow drives in a methodical game which leads me to the under on Goff.

Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson, QB

Lamar Jackson Prop to Target: Higher than 54.5 rushing yards

Jackson is 50/50 on hitting this number this season, but as stingy as the Detroit Lion’s defence has become, they are still unable to stop quarterbacks from racking up large rushing totals. Pretty much every quarterback to face them has had a season-high in rushing yards and Jackson will be no different.

Zay Flowers, WR

Zay Flowers Prop to Target: Higher than 56.5 receiving yards

Flowers has been at or over this total in every game this season and even when he’s missed it, he hasn’t missed by much. Mark Andrews was always the key cog in the Raven’s offence, but things have slowly shifted and the Ravens appear to have a legit WR1 for the first time in years. Look for Flowers to keep up his consistent play and hit the over in this one.

Mark Andrews, TE

Mark Andrews Prop to Target: Higher than 53.5 receiving yards.

After missing week one and starting off slow in Weeks two and three, Andrews has gone on to smash this total in the past three games. Much like the Lions, Baltimore is concentrated to two potent threats in the passing game and both should be able to go over their yardage total in this matchup.
