Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield, QB
Baker Mayfield Prop to Target: Higher than 34.5 passing attempts
Mayfield has thrown more than 34 times in four of six games this season including each of the last two games. As the season progresses, the Bucs coaching staff seems to be taking the training wheels off and letting Baker air it out. Whether it be confidence in him or lack of confidence in the run game, he should easily top this total against a high-scoring opponent.
Mike Evans, WR
Mike Evans Prop to Target: Higher than 56.5 receiving yards
Evans has beaten this receiving yardage total in every game except for two this season. In the two games that he failed to hit the number, he faced elite defences. The Bills were once regarded as an elite defence, but a myriad of injuries has them vulnerable through the air. I’ll take the over on Evans.
Rachaad White, RB
Rachaad White Prop to Target: Higher than 12.5 rushing attempts
White has been one of the biggest disappointments of the fantasy season so far, but he continues to be the only option in the Tampa run game. He has gone over this carries total in every game except against the Detroit Lion’s lockdown defence. They may not be efficient carries, but there will be more than 12.5 of them.
Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen, QB
Josh Allen Prop to Target: Higher than 1.5 passing TDs
Allen and the Bills haven’t been winning as much this season, but they are still scoring at a high rate. He has hit this number in six of eight games this season, including each of the last four. The Bills will have to score to make up for their banged-up defence, and Allen should see enough volume to record his fifth straight multi-passing touchdown game.
Stefon Diggs, WR
Stefon Diggs Prop to Target: Higher than 86.5 receiving yards
Diggs has totalled more than 100 receiving yards in five of his first six games, and in four straight games before recording only 58 yards in Week 7. I’m going to write off his Week 7 output and assume it’s just another case of Bill Belichick shutting down a team’s WR1. It’s safe to say Diggs will get back on track this week against a porous Buccaneers secondary.
James Cook, RB
James Cook Prop to Target: Higher than 17.5 receiving yards.
Cook has hauled in more than 17.5 receiving yards in three of the last four games. He has been a consistent target earner despite having not done much with those targets. He is a safe bet to top this number, even if the upside isn’t there.
