Week 2 Underdog Prop Picks

The League Winners, Fantasy Football, Week 2 Underdog Player Props

See what players are worth taking the over, and under, in these Week 2 Underdog prop picks.

It’s once again Saturday, which means it’s time to look forward to the weekend and a new slate of Pick ‘Em props over on Underdog fantasy. Use our promo code FFLW on your first contest to have Underdog match your first deposit up to $100 so you can play these Week 2 Underdog prop picks.

Last week we went an abysmal 3-6-1. For transparency, any prop that misses due to injury I chalk up to a tie (like the injury to JK Dobbins). So let’s run it back this week, and hopefully games stick to their scripts this week (looking at you, NYG)!

  • Last Weeks Record: 3-6-1
  • Overall Record: 3-6-1
  • Lock of the Week Record: 0-1

Week 2 Underdog Prop Picks

Tua Tagovailoa 271.5 Total Yards – UNDER

This week Underdog is running a promotion for anyone using this prop. Anyone who has this prop in their slips gets entered into a chance to win $10,000 directly into their account. Naturally, we have to include it in this slip. After an amazing performance in a shootout with the Los Angeles Chargers, I see Tua Tagovailoa taking a step back, only because I believe this game won’t be a shootout. Tua has never passed this projection against the New England Patriots in four games against them.

Ja’Marr Chase 0.5 Rush/Receiving TD – OVER

Ja’Marr Chase (and the entire Cincinnati Bengals offense) played the worst game of his career last week against the Cleveland Browns. It’s a trend we see in his Week 1 games. Chase gets to go against a Baltimore Ravens defense who’ve lost Marcus Williams and Marlon Humphrey this week due to injuries. A huge bounce-back game against a rival that Chase has averaged 0.5 touchdowns already seems like a much earned win.

Brock Purdy 1.5 Passing TDs – OVER

The San Francisco 49ers offense looked Purdy good against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. I expect to see that continue on Sunday when they play the Los Angeles Rams. Brock Purdy has yet to throw for less then 2 touchdowns in a game in his career. Against a rather suspect Rams secondary, I can see him easily getting to two – and possible grabbing three.

Darren Waller 54.5 Receiving Yards – UNDER

In a game with a pass-first script, Darren Waller had 3 catches for 36 yards. While I do not want to read into that as a projection of things to come, Waller has been rumored to be having some issues with his groin. It’s same injury he battled with last season with the Las Vegas Raiders. Also, only one tight end had more yards than line last week; and it was not against the Arizona Cardinals. That was Hunter Henry had 56 against the Philadelphia  Eagles).

🔒Javonte Williams 44.5 Rushing Yards – OVER🔒

Javonte Williams had a solid game in a 17-16 loss against the Raiders last week, rushing for 52 yards. Facing an arguably worse run stopping defense who just allowed 62 yards to James Connor last week, I see Williams flying past this number with ease. That’s why I’m taking Williams as my lock of the week.

Zach Wilson 171.5 Passing Yards – UNDER

Zach Wilson struggled last week at home against the Buffalo Bills after having to take over for Aaron Rodgers. Wilson only mustered 140 yards in a game that went into overtime. Now he gets to travel to ‘Jerry World’ and face a defense with Trevon Diggs and Stephon Gilmore? The lights are going to be way too bright. Wilson is going to struggle against a much better defense. Hammer the under.

Dameon Pierce 54.5 Rushing Yards – UNDER

To say Dameon Pierce struggled in Week 1 might be one of the bigger understatements of the day. Pierce was held in check against a very good run-stopping Ravens defense, posting a disappointing 38 yards. The Houston Texans now host the Indianapolis Colts in a divisional battle where Pierce will be running against Deforest Buckner and Shaquille Leonard. Looks like another hard day in the office is in store for the sophomore.

Mike Evans 57.5 Receiving Yards – OVER

Mike Evans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may not have the best relationship behind closed doors, but that has not affected Evans ability to produce on the field. Evans finished Week 1 with 66 receiving yards. Now he will take on a bad Chicago Bears secondary. Evans might pass this line at halftime.

Jamaal Williams 55.5 Rushing Yards – UNDER

Jamaal Williams was a workhorse last week, taking on 18 carries. However, he was not the ideal model of efficiency, only totaling 45 yards on the ground. I see Williams’ usage dropping in a divisional trip with the Carolina Panthers on Monday night. With the usage dropping, I see his ability to accrue yardage dropping as well.

Nick Chubb 75.5 Rushing Yards – OVER

Two Monday night games? Oh, NFL, you shouldn’t have. The Steelers just surrendered massive yardage on the ground against the 49ers in Week 1 and face a bruiser in Nick Chubb for Week 2. I predict Chubb to go over 100 yards in back-to-back weeks. As long as his line is below that I will happily scoop up the over.
