Film Notes and Highlights

Jawhar Jordan reminds me of another Louisville running back (Javian Hawkins) that I was pretty high on. The problem is it was just speed, and that was not enough to get him a role in the NFL. Jordan shows the quickness and speed to take it the distance at any time. I was hoping I would see more receiving ability out of the backfield but it was somewhat limited to check downs or screens.

There is inconsistency in how he attacks the line of scrimmage. At times he would put foot in the ground and use burst to go up the field for large gains. Other times he would hesitate too much or bounce the run outside trying to use speed. That just will not be a recipe for success in the NFL. He seems to be a late round pick that could be used situationally but probably 10 touches or less a game. – Brandon Haye
