Film Notes and Highlights
Junior Colson benefited from playing with a great defensive front. He was routinely out of position in both the running and passing game, taking bad pursuit and tackle angles. Instead of attacking the open hole, Colson would often wait for the ball carrier to initiate contact. Usually this would lead to extra yardage or flat out missed tackles. In coverage, Colson consistently looks lost in zone and needed constant reminders of what his duties were. He has good size for the next level, but his ability to play the position is extremely questionable. I believe Colson is a Day 3 prospect. – Thomas Christopher
