Film Notes and Highlights
Kamren Kinchens is a hard hitting safety. He shows good pad level and instinct in run support with quick pursuit angles. He’s not afraid to go in the hole and make a one-on-one tackle. However, he does lack high-end speed. In the second level, if he doesn’t take a good angle he can get blown past by runners.
In coverage, Kamren Kinchens struggles at times in man. However, he greatly improved from 2022 to 2023 – especially in zone coverage. While at times he still can lose sight of wide receivers running past him, he performed much better as a deep safety in 2023. Kinchens is a ball hawk and shows good instinct playing at a free safety position. I have a Day 2 grade on Kinchens – but he may fall due to testing. – Thomas Christopher
