Film Notes and Highlights
Tyler Nubin is a hard hitting safety with ball hawk capabilities. In coverage, he has a good sense of routes developing underneath him. However, he has some discipline issues when in single high coverage and does not have suitable start/stop speed if caught trailing.
In run support, it seemed like Nubin regressed from 2022 to 2023. In 2022 he had excellent pursuit angles and seemed very instinctual. However, in 2023 those instincts seemed rusty, and he often took bad leverage and pursuit angles on his tackles, leading to missed tackles. I have Tyler Nubin as a late Day 1, early Day 2 prospect. – Thomas Christopher
