Week 7 of the NFL season is here. With more teams reaching their Bye week, making fantasy football lineup decisions can be more difficult than ever. To keep you covered week in and week out, The League Winners are here to help you with any start or sit questions you have. Spending the week agonizing over who to start in your flex? Put your mind to rest and rely on us week in, and week out. If you missed last week’s picks, you can see them here.
With Keenan Allen potentially missing another week, and Josh Palmer out for the game, I’m pivoting to the Chargers starting TE. Everett is surprisingly the TE9 on the season, but has had trouble with consistency. Then again, that defines the entire TE position this year for fantasy football. With that said, Mike Williams is likely to draw the attention of defenses, allowing Everett to chew up chunks fo the field beneath him. Even if Keenan Allen does play, it would be be more to take the attention from defenses rather than directing targets his way. I’m firing Everett up everywhere – as a starter or a Flex.
It is finally time to put Dalton Schultz back into your fantasy football lineup. Dak is back and he is going to be what everyone thought he was. He has been going through injuries, but he is playing this week. Schultz has not put up a relevant game since Week 1 playing with Dak. The Cowboys are playing against the Detroit Lions this week, and Schultz should feast in this matchup. If for some reason he is on your waiver wire, pick him up and start him with confidence.
Piggybacking off of Harry, I too will be piciking a Dallas Cowboy player for this week. In his first game back from injury Dak will get the cupcake matchup of the Detroit Lions defense. That defense is currently allowing more points/game than any team in the NFL. Look for Dak to come back hot with 300 yards and 3 touchdowns.
As much as I wanted to put DJ Moore here for a third consecutive week, I’m going with the rookie in Atlanta. After starting off the 2022 season hot, London has cooled off considerably – through no fault of his own. The Falcons offense is a run-first team and the Bengals are good against WRs this season in fantasy football. I would expect London to get his minimum of 3 catches and 40 yards, but if you’re looking for better production, look elsewhere.
Lockett is currently WR14 in fantasy football PPR leagues, and I am sitting him in every one. He is questionable going into this game and he has not practiced all week. Pete Carroll said that Lockett has a “really good” chance to play. This is screaming “decoy” to me. He played through injury last week and only had 17 yards. He has been electric this season, but until he is fully healthy, I am benching him.
