NFL Betting: Rapid Fire – Week 5 Sunday Football

Every Sunday for the rest of the NFL season, The League Winners will be providing a ‘Rapid Fire’ NFL betting segment. We will feature two 1 PM games, one 4 PM game, and the Sunday Night game. Each matchup category with bonus used in this article is set by our partner, Monkey Knife Fight. If you click here and use the promo code ‘WINNERS’ upon signup, MKF will match up to $100 dollars on your deposit for first-time users.

Last week was tough for me. Overall I went 7 of 19. The only highlight was 3 of the 5 correct props for the Sunday Night Game.

NFL Betting: Rapid Fire Sunday 1 PM Games

Philadelphia @ Carolina

Passing Yards: Sam Darnold vs Jalen Hurts (+19.5 Pass Yds) – Jalen Hurts

Darnold has been pretty consistent this year with over 300 passing yards in the last three games. In the last two games, Hurts has been playing from behind with over 325 yards. With the Eagles playing from behind makes me take Hurts in this one.

Receiving Yards: DJ Moore vs Devonta Smith (+31.5 Rec Yds) – DJ Moore

Moore has 12 more targets than Smith so far this season and is the go-to receiver for Darnold so far. Smith and the Eagles are still trying to find a consistent way to get him the ball, so give me Moore even with the 31.5-yard bonus.

Receptions: Robby Anderson vs Dallas Goedert (+0.5 Receptions) – Dallas Goedert

Anderson is just not getting targeted enough by Darnold and with the bonus, Goedert gets the nod in this matchup.

Minnesota @ Detroit

Passing Yards: Kirk Cousins vs Jared Goff (+27.5 Pass Yds) – Jared Goff

Cousins and the Vikings are the better offense. I believe the Vikings should be leading in this one for most of the game. Playing catchup and with the bonus, give me Goff in garbage time..

Rushing Yards: Dalvin Cook vs Jamaal Williams (+31.5 Rush Yds) – Jamaal Williams

Normally I would take Cook, but his ankle injury makes trusting him difficult. He reinjured it last week against the Browns and did not see his normal production. Williams has been getting steady carries and with the bonus, I feel he will get the nod in this prop.

Receiving Yards: Justin Jefferson vs Adam Thielen (+19.5 Rec Yds) – Justin Jefferson

Jefferson seems to be getting the edge in the last couple of games in terms of total receiving yards. Thielen is depended on in the red zone more, but overall yards give me Jefferson.

Receptions: Tyler Conklin (+0.5 Receptions) vs Kalif Raymond – Kalif Raymond

Conklin’s receiving numbers are being padded by one game with seven receptions, but his numbers seem more around 3-4 receptions a game. I think Goff will throw more, and it seems like Raymond’s the best of his wide receivers.

Receptions: TJ Hockenson (+0.5 Receptions) vs D’Andre Swift – D’Andre Swift

Both players are banged up, and both seem to be the main targets for Goff this season. With the Lions most likely trailing in this game, I see Swift with more catches and time on the field.

NFL Betting: Rapid Fire Sunday 4 PM Game

San Francisco @ Arizona

Passing Yards: Kyler Murray vs Trey Lance (+69.5 Pass Yds) – Kyler Murray

This is a tough one. 69.5 yards is quite a big bonus, but this is Lance’s 1st start of his career. I see Lance running the ball more in this game and Murray is the better passer, so give me Murray in this matchup.

Receiving Yards: Deandre Hopkins vs Deebo Samuel (+6.5 Rec Yds) – Deandre Hopkins

Samuel has been on a tear this year and will be the leader for San Francisco with George Kittle doubtful in this matchup. I think Samuel could have more catches, but give me Hopkins with more yards because of the better QB throwing him the ball.

Receptions: Chase Edmonds vs Rondale Moore (+1.5 Receptions) – Rondale Moore

I think this one could be close as both players are utilized in the short passing games, but with the bonus give me Moore because of his utilization in the red zone.

Receptions: Brandon AIyuk (+0.5 Receptions) vs AJ Green  – AJ Green

Green has five receptions in the last two games and seems to be the steady 2nd option on the offense. Aiyuk has been in the dog house and is gaining more targets, but still think he is far beyond Samuel in targets. Give me the bigger-bodied Green in this matchup.

NFL Betting: Rapid Fire Sunday Night Game

Buffalo @ Kansas City

Passing Yards: Patrick Mahomes vs Josh Allen (+1.5 Pass Yds) – Patrick Mahomes

This is a tough matchup. Mahomes has a little under 200 yards more over the season and the Chiefs have a higher pass percentage than the Bills. The Bills also have had a better scoring defense, so the Chiefs will most likely have to pass the ball to stay in the game. Give me Mahomes.

Rushing Yards: Clyde Edwards-Helaire vs Zach Moss (+10.5 Rushing Yards) – Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Moss is sharing time with Devin Singletary and has to deal with Josh Allen stealing touches. Edwards-Helaire is the main RB on the Chiefs and has had two straight games with over 100 yards.

Receiving Yards: Stefon Diggs vs Emmanuel Sanders (+34.5 Rec yds) – Stefon Diggs

Sanders has been good the last couple of games, and the bonus of 34.5 yards is pretty high. I think this is a game where Diggs rises to the challenge and reminds us of what he did last season.

Receptions: Cole Beasley vs Dawson Knox (+1.5 Receptions) – Dawson Knox

Beasley is a consistent security blanket for Josh Allen, but so far this season he only has two games with 5+ receptions. With the bonus of 1.5 and Knox being more involved as of late, give me him in the matchup.

Receptions: Travis Kelce vs Tyreek Hill (+1.5 Rec Yds) – Travis Kelce

Tre’davious White should be covering Hill in this game, so I don’t believe Hill will repeat his Week 4 success. Kelce gets on track in this one and has a big game like we are use to him having.
