Jaylin Simpson is a unique player. The safety showed good effort, both in coverage and the run game. Simpson plays well in zone, but at times has trouble tracking the ball on deeper passes. Simpson plays well in man coverage, sticking with receivers and making great plays on the ball at the catch point. He’s a hard hitting player, but can have trouble with tackle angles and effort in run support. As a safety, I believe he’s a Day 3 player with room to improve. – Thomas Christopher
