Georgia Tech Football: The Ultimate Recruiting Round-Up for June 2026

Georgia Tech Football Recruiting, The League Winners

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football program had a busy month of June. Recruiting can reach a fever pitch during that time, and the Yellow Jackets have been hot on the trail.

Georgia Tech Football: The Ultimate Recruiting Round-Up for June 2026

They earned 23 of their 26 commits from the class of 2027 in June. That includes nine four-stars and 14 three-stars. There are days when they’ve earned two, maybe three, commits in a day. The Yellow Jackets have completely changed their outlook for the 2027 class.

Strengths

Georgia Tech has invested a lot into the offensive line in this class. Their highest-ranked recruit (Joshua Sam-Epelle) and third-highest (Kal-El Johnson) recruits are tackles. They’ve also added tackle Braylin Mills, along with interior offensive linemen Jordan Dillon and Jaiden Thompson.

The Yellow Jackets also earned plenty of commits in the pass-rushing room, mainly at edge. Three four-star recruits have committed to Georgia Tech in June, and Justin Weeks, Success Nwabude, and Braden Gordon could all be worthwhile contributors in the pass-rushing room. The interior defensive line is in a good spot as well, with two four-stars (Jamar Thompson, Maleek Lee) and three-star Adrian Williams.

Weaknesses

The Yellow Jackets still need to address corner. They have one corner commit in three-star Larry Moon, although his tape showed a difference-maker that can match in phase with anyone. There are a few four-star prospects they are keyed in on. However, their cornerback room is full of upperclassmen, so there’s some urgency there.

They could use another recruit in the tight end room, but three-star Joshua Pettigrew could be a stud. Pettigrew has a lot of athleticism at 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds. Georgia Tech puts a lot in the transfer portal for tight ends too, so maybe one more recruit could flesh out the class, but Pettigrew looked really impressive.
